Our French partner “Attitude pro” has developed Open badges around 7 Soft Skills but what are Soft kills? Let’s try an explanation in writing and in pictures!
There is no good translation of the english term soft skills. Skills are competences. Soft in the context means to be adaptable, gentle, flexible. The best translation in my opinion would be FLEXIBLE skills, but the notion of SOFT SKILLS is much more than that. Soft skills are in fact all the skills that enable successful social interactions and the achievement of goals, whether personal or professional. Soft skills are the skills of knowing how to be. How to behave in a situation, whether it is a challenge, a problem or an opportunity. They are cross-cutting skills that facilitate exchanges and interactions in society and in the business world.

Il n’existe pas de bonne traduction du terme anglais soft skills. Les skills se sont les compétences. Soft cela veut dire dans le contexte être adaptable, doux, flexible. La meilleure traduction selon moi serait les compétences FLEXIBLES, mais la notion de SOFT SKILLS, c’est beaucoup plus que ça. Les soft skills regroupent en fait toutes les compétences permettant des interactions sociales réussies et l’atteinte des objectifs, qu’ils soient personnels ou professionnels. Les soft skills se sont les compétences du savoir être. Comment se comporter face à une situation ,que ce soit un challenge, un problème ou une opportunité. Il s’agit des compétences transversales à tous les métiers qui facilitent les échanges et les interactions dans la société, et dans le monde de l’entreprise.

Unfortunately, the announced and expected meeting for end of November 2021 had to be postponed to March 2022, due to new tightening of sanitary measures currently in force in Austria.
As a reminder, partners were to meet with trainers and experts for a three-day training workshop to discuss RAFT outputs prototypes related to methods and models for technical and soft skills assessment.
Instead, partners had an(other) online meeting to plan the work to be conducted until then.

Malheureusement, la réunion annoncée et attendue pour fin novembre 2021 a dû être reportée à mars 2022, en raison du nouveau renforcement des mesures sanitaires actuellement en vigueur en Autriche.
Pour rappel, les partenaires devaient rencontrer des formateurs et des experts pour un atelier de formation de trois jours afin de discuter des ébauches des méthodes et modèles d’évaluation des compétences techniques et non techniques RAFT.
A la place, les partenaires ont eu une (autre) réunion en ligne pour planifier le travail à mener d’ici là.
